So I had an idea. My GoodReads to-be-read list is fairly large (way over 100 books) and, to be honest, I can never remember where I heard of most of these. Some I found through other book bloggers. Some have been recommended to me by friends. I’ve decided that instead of trying to figure out where all these books came from, I will keep track using a blog post. It won’t be every week, just whenever I have added a few books. Here’s what I’ve found this week.
- The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo – Do you remember when I was doing tasks for the Seasonal Reading Challenge Group? This is a book they will be reading together starting in June. There are a couple of other books as well, but this one sounded the most interesting.
- The Immortal Circus: Act 1 by A.R. Kahler – This one was recommended to me by a co-worker. He saw me reading My Soul to Take at lunchtime one day and asked if I had read this one. Which I hadn’t. Once I saw that it had fairies in it, you know I was on board!
- Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry – I saw this book reviewed on another blog that I follow, Chrissi Reads. She is a big fan of this author and really enjoyed this book. It’s different from what I usually read, so I thought I’d give it a go.
- Sara’s Game by Ernie Lindsey – I got this one off of BookBub (if you’ve never heard of BookBub, go check it out now – you’ll thank me later). It’s also a bit different from what I usually pick up, but it looked like a very gripping story.
Have you found any new books this week?
